Big Game fishing, also known as offshore sport fishing or offshore fishing, is a form of sport fishing with the aim of hunting big fish, as in our case the Atlantic Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus), blue shark (Prionace glauca) and fox shark (Alopias vulpinus). Fishing itself is done on the open sea, often very far away from the mainland. The fishing area is between Umag and Pula, depending on the location of the fish at that time. The Tuna Tail boat is fully equipped for Big Game fishing: fish finder (sonder), radar, chart plotter, chair for the Big Game fight on the aft, station for pulling the fish on the platform, stand up belts for fight with tuna, trolling rods 130 lbs and trolling rods 80 lbs.
